At Mommy University, we LOVE museums. From space to art to fossils to the human body, there is so much to discover and explore when you visit a museum. We especially love the hands-on learning fun that kids (and adults) can enjoy! There is only one thing more fun than visiting a museum, and that’s sleeping at one!
If you have never slept at a museum, then now is your chance. Mommy University is so excited to partner with The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia to giveaway 2 passes (one child and one adult) to their upcoming camp-in. On Friday, February 26-27, 2016, families can enjoy an experience of a lifetime.
What’s a camp-in?
The Franklin Institute opens up the museum to new adventures and explorations at night! Families can arrive beginning at 6:15pm with sleeping bags in tow. Kids ages 6-13 years old will have the opportunity to see live shows, explore exhibits, enjoy hands-on activities and more.

There are so many amazing brain boosting experiences kids and their parents will enjoy while on their camp-in. Here are some of the highlights:

This sounds like such a one of a kind experience.
My son LOVES The Franklin Institute and would just soak in all of the exhibits. By staying overnight, he could explore to his hearts content! Last time we went, we were there practically from the time they opened until the time they closed!

OMG!!! I am from Philly (but live outside of Boston), and FI is one of my favorite places! How cool that they do a camp in! I want to do it when my oldest is 6- I think it would be the coolest!
When my kids are older they will love this. We visited FI recently and had a ball at the sports exhibit.
It would be so great to spend the night with my brother at a museum! Even though there is a difference in our ages, we always love going to museums together. We have such great memories from days spent in different museums when we were really young.
Museums are such an educational experience for kids! It would be cool to see if museums really do come to life at night!
