Play Indoors at iPlay America

In full disclosure, we were provided tickets in exchange for our honest review. The opinions expressed belong to Mommy University. We were recently invited to explore iPlay America in Freehold, NJ. I had heard so many amazing reviews which is why I was beyond excited for our visit. From the moment we entered the complex, we were in awe. There is so much to see, do, and explore for all ages. iPlay offers hours of fun and excitement!

One of the things I really love about iPlay is the theming. I truly felt like I was down the shore walking in out of the arcades and exploring the boardwalk. From the decorations to the lamp posts to the facade outside each room, it was truly a unique experience. Even though there were tons of people there, it never felt crowded as everything is so spread out. There was plenty of room to walk around, and we never had to wait to play a game.

Arcade and Boardwalk Games

Arcade Games at iPlay

As soon as you enter iPlay America, you will be in awe of their selection of exciting arcade games. There are over 250 games spread across the complex offering hours of fun for guests of all ages. If I was looking for my kids and their friend, I could always find them at the pitching and basketball games, while I could be found at skee ball and the bean bag toss game. We also loved the games where we could earn tons of tickets. iPlay also offers fun driving, crane, and skill-based games. We played for hours without ever getting bored. Guests can also enjoy boardwalk games such as basketball toss, balloon darts, whac-a-mole, and a water race game. Make sure to trade in your tickets at the end. iPlay has an extensive selection of prizes to choose from!

Did you know that iPlay offers amusement rides inside their complex? How awesome is that?! Guests of all ages can enjoy these indoor attractions in between all the arcade fun. Little ones will love the High Flyer, Carousel, and Mini Ferris Wheel, while older kids will enjoy Kite Flyer, Skyscraper, and Happy Swing. More daring guests can experience Reverse Time and Freedom Rider (indoor roller coaster). A unique experience for guests 36 inches and taller is the IPA Speedway. This indoor go kart experience costs 16 credits for single riders and 20 credits for double riders.

XD Dark Ride

The XD Dark Ride is an exciting multi-sensory, interactive experience that can be enjoyed by guests at iPlay America. With 3D graphics and vibrating seats, we truly felt like we were in a post apocalyptic world chasing zombies. Each chair also had its own sound system making the experience even more immersive and exciting. The XD Dark Ride is an additional fee or you can use credits on your iPlay card. It costs 14 credits. This ride is recommended for adults, kids, and teens, but you must be at least 40 inches tall to play.

Lasertron

My favorite experience within the iPlay complex was Lasertron, a 6500 sq. ft., 2-level interactive LED laser tag arena. This 8-minute action-packed experience is a MUST DO when visiting iPlay. Each player chooses which team they will play for, red or green, and then puts on the multi-sensory vest with an attached laser gun. The vest lights up, vibrates, and talks when you make a good shot. We all had the best time running all over the place tagging anyone we could find. My son was especially excited because he had the top score of 14,865. This experience is an additional fee or 20 credits, and players must be at least 42 inches tall.

Topgolf Swing Suites

Right down the hall from all the fun listed above is Topgolf Swing Suites, a unique experience for all ages. Each suite fits up to 8 people and comes with a couch, 2 large chairs, and a table. There is also a larger buffet-like table behind the couch. Guests at Topgolf Swing Suite can order food and drinks off their unique menu to enjoy while playing. We enjoyed pizza and wings, which were delicious!

Topgolf offers 5 bays, each featuring exciting game simulators that the entire family will love. There is a large range of sports and games to play so the fun is endless. During our one hour stay, we played baseball, football, soccer, golf, zombie dodgeball, and carnival games. Within those categories, there are a variety of play options, especially in the area of golf. Whether you are just going for fun or going to improve your golf game, there is a course for everyone.
