Updated for 2019!
One of my favorite experiences during the holiday season is enjoying a wonderful holiday show with my family. Whether it is a musical, play or ballet, watching a theatrical performance with your family is a great way to kick off the holiday season. At Mommy University, we believe that exposing children to the arts, especially the performing arts, is a wonderful way to enhance child development. Not only do kids increase their ability to pay attention and focus, they also gain important insight in social and cultural awareness. Kids also boost their language development and comprehension skills. Lastly, shows are a wonderful way for families to spend the day together and bond.
This holiday season, there is a wide variety of holiday shows offered throughout NJ that the entire family will LOVE. I have put together a list of family friendly performances that focus on celebrating the holidays. Enjoy!
