I have been taking my boys to Hersheypark since they were infants. It has been so much fun to watch them grow up as Hersheypark kids. There are so many amazing things to do for all ages, but in this post I want to highlight all the sweet fun for preschoolers!
For 2023-2024 season, Hersheypark is offering a sweet new deal. If you are a parent of a preschooler (age 5 or under born after July 1, 2019), then this is the deal for you! When you purchase a Full, King, or Giant Size season pass then you are eligible to redeem a FREE PreK pass. How awesome is that?! Full and King size pass holders can get one PreK pass while Giant Size pass holders can redeem up to 2 PreK passes. All you need is a government issued birth certificate or passport to prove your child’s age. Once activated, your preschooler can enjoy unlimited visits to the Sweetest Place on Earth.
Some may ask, “But what is there to do for preschoolers?” I can tell you from experience that there are endless ways for preschoolers to have fun at Hersheypark. In this post I am going to highlight some of the best preschool experiences!
Preschool Fun at Hersheypark
Kiddie and Family Rides
When you think of Hersheypark, you may think big coasters, but I am here to tell you that there are tons of rides geared towards little ones. When my boys were little, we always went right for the Hot Air Balloons. It was their favorite ride. Right in the same area are several other rides designated for the youngest members of your group. As you walk further into the park, you will find even more themed rides for preschoolers such as swings, a mini pirate ship, helicopters, and more. Throughout the park there are also several family friendly rides that everyone can enjoy. These include the Monorail, train, carrousel, ferris wheel, and Kissing Tower.
Waterpark Fun
This summer, your preschooler will LOVE splashing around the waterpark at Hersheypark which is included with their annual pass. In addition to the lazy river and wave pool that the family can enjoy together, there are specific water fun areas just for little ones. Sandcastle Cove and Bayside Pier are the perfect spots for preschoolers to spend a hot summer day. Plus, Hersheypark provides free life jackets!
Character Meet and Greets
Hersheypark offers fun character meet and greets every season of the year! Kids (and kids at heart) will love meeting their favorite Hershey’s candy bar. Whether it’s a dance party, in the theatre, or strolling through the park, kids can meet and take pictures with life size candy bars. During Halloween, the characters dress up for the season which adds to the fun. Plus, don’t forget that during Christmas, families can meet Santa and his 9 reindeer.
Trick or Treating
During the Halloween season, kids can enjoy an exciting trick or treating experience at the park. Day and night little ones can collect delicious Hershey’s candy while exploring Treatville. My boys have been trick or treating at the park since before they could walk. It has become one of our favorite traditions. Plus, we love collecting Halloween Hershey themed candy!
Games, Games, and More Games!
What kid doesn’t love playing games? Hersheypark is not short on fun games kids will love to play. What they will love even more is walking around the park with their new prize! My family has a small…okay BIG obsession with the can game. If you follow Mommy University on social media then you have seen some of the giant stuffed animals we have won. My boys also have quite a large collection of Hersheypark basketballs.
Visit the Zoo
Did you know that Hersheypark Passholders are also provided admission to the zoo year round? With an entrance located right inside the park, the zoo is an easy and perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the park. ZooAmerica offers families an opportunity to see and learn all about various animals that are from the five regions of the United States. Educational programs and tours are also available to help enhance knowledge about animals as well as increase conservation awareness.
So what are you waiting for? Get your preschooler their pass today so you can start creating some sweet family memories!
