We have stayed in Hershey many (MANY) times but we have never stayed in a room quite as amazing as this one! For this trip, we were invited to stay at the Woodside Cottages at The Hotel Hershey. A quick walk from the main building, the cottages offer a unique experience the entire family will love! I have shared our family’s experiences at each Hershey resort, including The Hotel Hershey. For this trip, I wanted to try something new, and I have to say, quite luxurious. During my last stay at The Hotel Hershey, we drove by The Woodside Cottages and I swore I would stay there one day. This summer, my dream became a reality.
The Woodside Cottages are located behind The Harvest which is a quick and beautiful walk from the main building. There are 10 cottages lined up along the road, all with gorgeous views and amazing amenities. The cottages hold 4-6 rooms with a great room in the middle that guests who book all 4 rooms have access to. Each room is 525 square feet of pure luxury! Our room had 2 queen beds, a desk, chairs, mini fridge, Keurig, and television but what made this room really stand out was the bathroom. It is a bathroom you will never want to leave. It offers double sinks, an amazing rainforest shower, and a bathtub fit for a Queen. It even has a television! Plus, it comes with the BEST scented toiletries ever made (chocolate mandarin)!
The cottage is nestled in the woods while also being walking distance to all the resort activities, like the pool and putting course. We had a front porch with 2 rocking chairs which I enjoyed while reading and drinking coffee. The beautiful view of the woods will make you forget about all of your worries, even if it’s just for a little while.
Let’s talk about the Great Room! Guests who book all 4 rooms have access to a large but cozy living room space. It offers a kitchenette, large dining table, couch and chair, television, and stunning fireplace. Just outside this incredible room is an outdoor space with rocking chairs overlooking the woods. It’s truly a one of a kid experience!
Even though you are nestled in the woods away from the hustle and bustle of the resort, all the fun is only a short walk away. The Woodside Cottages are conveniently located near all the amazing adventures The Hotel Hershey has to offer. The pool, which is one of the best resort pools EVER, is nearby so guests of all ages can enjoy a summer day relaxing in the water or sliding down one of the 2 exciting slides. Plus, they even have an Adults Only pool and hot tub.
Also just a walk away is the putting course which offers family fun day and night. During the day, hotel guests can play on the course for FREE. At night, the course lights up for even more fun and excitement. Glow Golf is an experience you can’t pass up. It costs an additional fee but worth every penny. Looking for more fun? Take a walk to the sports complex where you can enjoy almost every sport imaginable. We had a blast playing basketball, shuffleboard, tennis, and horseshoes. My boys even learned how to play bocci ball. Each evening guests can also enjoy roasting marshmallows by the fire pit.
