As a child, my family loved going on vacations close to home as we really enjoyed what the East Coast had to offer. I have very fond memories from my childhood when my mom and dad took us to fun and unique places to explore. One place I remember quite well is Williamsburg, Virginia. I was about 12 years old and remember loving each adventure with my family. I returned to Williamsburg with my husband just before having kids and had another memorable experience. I swore I would come back one day with my boys!
My boys are now 5 and 8, the perfect ages to explore all that Greater Williamsburg has to offer. There are amazing hands-on learning adventures for kids (and adults). Whether you enjoy thrill rides, waterparks, museums or the outdoors, there is something for you in Williamsburg.
As part of a Momtrends event in NYC, I had the opportunity to speak with a representative from Visit Williamsburg. I was so excited to learn about the wonderful experiences available for all ages. So much has changed since I was a kid, and I am even more excited than before to bring my boys for a visit. At the event, I was able to sift through activities and put together an inspiration board for my dream Williamsburg vacation. I was amazed at the variety of adventures that are available. There are so many ways to find your fun in this iconic town!
