One of my favorite summer activities is enjoying a drive-in movie! Due to the need for social distancing, I am excited to share that drive-in movies are making a comeback in 2020. Although there is only ONE true drive-in in NJ, several pop-up locations are opening soon. In this post, we will share the drive-ins available in NJ (and the surrounding areas). We will continue to update this post to add more events as they are announced.
Drive-In Movies in NJ (and Beyond)
Located just outside the NJ border in Walnutport, PA, Becky’s Drive-In is open for business! Admission is $10/adult and $7/child (3-12). There are 2 screens each offering double features. For more information, please visit their website.
Berkeley Township Drive-In
The Mayor of Berkley Township in NJ recently shared that the town will be offering drive-in movies at Veterans Park this summer! The first event is June 6 featuring Trolls. Please visit their Facebook page for updates.
Boonton Township Drive-In Movie
The Town of Boonton PBA #212 will be hosting a fun drive-in movie on June 26 in the Boonton High School parking lot. This FREE event will begin at 8:30pm and will be first come first serve. Follow the Facebook events page for more information and updates.
Boxcar Drive-In Movies
Boxcar will be partnering with towns across NJ to bring drive-in movie fun to families. They will also partner with local restaurants for food delivery during the movie. At this time, drive-in movie events are scheduled for Madison and Franklin Lakes. Visit their website to purchase advanced tickets.

Circle Drive -In
Located in Dickson City, PA., the Circle Drive-In Theater is open for business! Every Friday through Tuesday, families can enjoy a movie on one of their 2 screens. Admission is $8/adult and $5/child (ages 3-11).
The Cranford Theater has announced that they will be offering a drive-in movie at the Orange Avenue Pool Lot. Date, movie, and time to be announced soon. Visit their website for up-to-date information.
Located in Vineland, the Delsea Drive-In will reopen on May 22. Tickets will be available online, and all tickets include a double feature (sometimes a triple feature). Times and shows can be found on their website. Please check their Facebook page for updates.
Starting June 11, Demarest Farms is opening their doors, or should I say their land, to guests for some social distancing movie fun. Located in Hillsdale (Bergen County), this unique drive-in movie theater is a fun option for those living in North Jersey. Please check out their Facebook page for updates and information. Ramsey Theatre Drive-In
Ramsey Theatre announced on their Facebook page that they will be offering a drive-in movie experience this summer. Details will be announced soon including times, dates, and location. Tickets and concession sales will be available when they launch a new drive-in website. Check their Facebook page for details.
In addition to their movies on the beach that will continue this summer, Seaside Heights will also be offering drive-in movies. Located in the Sumner Avenue parking lot, the drive-in movies will start at 8:30pm and appear to be geared towards adults. They are FREE to attend. Here is the schedule:

Somerset Patriots Drive-In Movie
On June 12-13, families can enjoy a drive-in movie at TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater, NJ. They will be showing The Sandlot both evenings beginning at 8:30pm. The event costs $25/car and is limited to the first 115 purchased per event. Proceeds will benefit RWJBarnabas Health Emergency Response Fund. Tickets will go on sale the week of June 1. The Eagle Theatre
The Eagle Theatre in Hammonton, NJ is partnering with the Kathedral Event Center to offer Karpool Cinema this summer. Admission is $25/car and can be purchased in advance. Make sure to check out The Eagle Theatre Facebook page for updates.

Located in Warwick, NY, this awesome drive-in will be welcoming guests beginning May 15. Ticket sales are available online and include a double feature.
