One holiday tradition we love in our house is making cookies for Santa and leaving them out on Christmas Eve. I let the kids decorate their own cookies which makes them even more excited for Santa to see and eat them. We then put them on a plate next to a cup of milk and go to bed. The next day (after looking at all their presents of course) my kids love checking the plate to see if Santa ate their cookies. It’s a fun experience for the entire family.

My favorite cookie is what we call Chocolate Meatballs. Like a chocolate Italian cookie with cinnamon and cloves.

I love sour cream cookies with cinnamon sugar on top. Similar to ricotta cookies. Anyone heard of them or did my mom make this up?
