In full disclosure, we were provided with 2 tickets to giveaway from WP Presents.
Join Thing One, Thing Two and the Cat in the Hat!
At Mommy University, we LOVE the theater. It is amazing the quantity and quality of children theater programs available for little ones in New Jersey. It is a fun and exciting event that the entire family can enjoy. I love seeing the wonder in the children’s eyes and smiles on their faces as each of their favorite characters come to life on stage. For a show like Cat In The Hat, it will have rhythm and rhyme that little ones appreciate. As well as Dr. Seuss’ quirky storylines to keep kids engaged.
There are also so many developmental benefits of enjoying a performance, especially one like the Cat In The Hat which is designed for young children. While at a show, kids are learning to focus and pay attention which, let’s face it, can be a struggle for little ones. They are also becoming aware of socially appropriate behavior. In addition, the performance helps enhance language development as kids learn new vocabulary. Parents can also talk to their children about what they see and hear which enhances their receptive and expressive language skills. Lastly, a child’s imagination and creatively is encouraged with each show that they see.
