My boys love to build, create and play so we are always looking for new and exciting building toys to help encourage this passion. At Toy Fair NY 2015, I found a building toy that I knew my boys would love and play with for hours!
Crystal Color Stacking Blocks by Roylco offers a change from the traditional building experience as it uses plastic cups instead of blocks, bricks or rods. We have been fans of Roylco for some time now as we love the straws and connectors set. We know they make good quality, brain boosting products so we were so happy when we were offered a sample of the Stacking Blocks in exchange for our honest review.
Roylco Crystal Color Stacking Blocks comes with 50 colorful stacking blocks (or cups as I like to call them). The grooves on the bottom of each cup allow for a wide variety of building options. Each cup can be carefully placed on another to make a tower, a castle, a city…the possibilities are endless. Kids can work independently or together to create their own building masterpieces.
My boys had a great time playing with the Stacking Blocks. They worked alone and together to build various towers and buildings. The cups are light in weight making them very easy to manipulate and stack; however, this also means they are very easy to knock over. With this set, kids need to build with more care and use a gentle approach if they don’t want their creation to fall.
At Mommy University, of course we want our kids to have fun while playing, but we also want them to learn. Crystal Color Stacking Blocks offer wonderful opportunities for growth and development. They allow kids to learn through play while enjoying a multi-sensory experience. They are perfect for playing with at home as well as in a classroom.
