I always enjoy exploring television shows and music that comes from different countries. From Octonauts to Puffin Rock, it is always a fun experience and can sometimes be the show my children absolutely love. Mily Miss Questions is originally made in France and definitely has a unique flavor for its animation style and topics.
Mily is a curious eight year old girl who is constantly asking questions. In each episode there is one dominant question that is proposed and Mily spends the remainder of the show exploring answers to this question. Throughout the episode, she is seeking an answer from family and friends. The Season One DVD includes 24 different episodes and the video lasts a total of 175 minutes.

Kids ask tough question that cause us pause. I love the concept of the main character constantly asking questions. While the first episode tackled a tough subject of “where are we before we are born,” I admire how the writers had the character seek out multiple opinions. Mily has some interesting questions as well as conversations. This is a television show that will spark curiosity as well as promote conversations at home!
Embraces Questions
Children understand the world through questions. Mily Miss Questions promotes that asking questions is a positive activity. Although they may not always receive an absolutely clear answer, we want to encourage them to think about the possible answers and solutions.
Explores Problem Solving
Mily had a question about boredom which resulted in her friends discussing their beliefs in boredom and what they can do. I appreciate that there is no right answer to her question but what occurs is children creating their own solutions.
