Remy’s Hide and Squeak Scavenger Hunt at Epcot

I have been dreaming about attending Epcot International Food and Wine Festival for years, and this year my dream finally came true! On August 3, 2021, I spent the day with my husband and friends eating and drinking around the world. It was AMAZING! Even though we did not have our kids with us, we still wanted to do Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak Scavenger Hunt. It is very similar to the other scavenger hunts we love to do at Epcot in the spring. I think we may have had even more fun as adults looking all over for this adorable critter.

How Does It Work:

Remy's Scavenger Hunt

To get started, guests purchase a map at one the select Food and Wine Festival stores within Epcot. The map is only $9.99 and comes with stickers. This makes it an affordable souvenir too! The price includes the prize participants can earn when the adventure is complete.

As you wine and dine around the park, have some fun looking for Remy amongst the booths and countries. There are 15 Remy locations around the Festival. Some are easy to find while others took some time to locate which added to the fun. (Confession: We had to ask cast members for some hints.) In each statuette, Remy is holding one ingredient needed to make his famous ratatouille. Not only was this a fun adventure, but I also learned more about what goes into making this delicious dish.

Once you find a statuette, you add that sticker to that location on your map. When complete, bring your map to one of the Festival stores for your prize. You can choose from 4 adorable little dishes. Of course, I chose the Remy one. It is a perfect souvenir to remember my FIRST TIME at the Food and Wine Festival.

We had so much fun completing the scavenger hunt. We worked together as a team looking for the statuettes all over the park. Make sure to look up because most of them are located above eye level. If you visit with the kids, Remy’s Scavenger Hunt is a fun activity to keep them busy while exploring the Festival. Kids (and kids at heart) will definitely squeak when they find Remy in his hiding spot.

Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak Scavenger Hunt is available throughout the entire festival (as long as supplies last). The 2021 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival takes place July 15 – November 20. Admission to Epcot is required to participate.
