How Do You Play?
IQ Twist comes with 8 twisted playing pieces in yellow, green, red and blue. It also comes with 7 colored pegs. All pieces fit perfectly in a small plastic carrying case. Inside the case is also a booklet with directions as well as 100 challenges ranging from easy to extremely difficult.
To start, remove all the twisted pieces and place them in the lid of the carrying case. Select the challenge level you would like to attempt. I recommend beginning with the easiest level labeled “starter” then progress from there. Place the pegs and pieces on the game board as shown in the picture in the booklet. The goal is to then add each twisted playing piece to the board so they all fit perfectly. The pieces that have holes can ONLY go over pegs of the same color. There is only one solution for each challenge (which can be found in the back of the booklet).
Solved the first one? Great, now you can move on to the next challenge. I had fun making it through the “starter” challenges but they did become progressively more difficult. My advice is “Don’t stress yourself out.” If you get stuck on one, just move onto the next one. The point is to have fun while working all those great cognitive skills!
